Programme Policy

This policy outlines the terms and conditions, payment procedures, privacy practices, and professional expectations for all programmes offered by Restore Nutrition, conducted by Farah Ali-Islam (Registered Dietitian). By enrolling in a programme or consultation, you agree to these terms.
1. Booking & Payment

A free 15-minute Zoom consultation is provided initially. Once confirmed, payment information will be sent.

Programme fees: TT$700 per programme. Payment must be made in full before the programme begins.

Payment plans: Two-part payment is allowed. The second part must be paid before the second half of the programme.

Membership access: Once payment is made, you gain unlimited access to the Restore Nutrition membership page. If the second payment is not received, access to materials and weekly consultations will be discontinued.

Appointments are confirmed once proof of payment is provided.
2. Programme Structure

Each programme runs for six weeks.

Participants receive weekly 20-minute virtual consultations via Zoom.

Clients are required to submit via WhatsApp: daily meal plans, physical activity logs, and relevant health data (e.g., blood glucose readings).

Personalised feedback and guidance are provided throughout the programme.
3. Missed or Rescheduled Sessions

Clients must provide notice in advance if a session cannot be attended.
-
Weekly sessions should be rescheduled as soon as possible to ensure continuity.
4. Refunds & Cancellations

No refunds are provided once a programme begins.
-
In cases of severe incidents preventing participation, clients may rebook within three months.
5. Misconduct & Professional Conduct
The dietitian reserves the right to discontinue services if clients engage in:

Disrespectful, abusive, or threatening behaviour
-
Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate communication
-
Unauthorised copying, sharing, or distribution of programme materials or resources

Programme non-adherence will not result in discontinuation, but misconduct will not be tolerated.

No refund will be issued if services are discontinued due to misconduct.
6. Privacy & Confidentiality
Information collected:

Personal: name, age, contact details, emergency contact (optional)

Health & Nutrition: medical and family medical history, diagnoses, medications, allergies, lab results, food recalls, dietary intake, eating patterns, anthropometric measurements, and physical activity logs

Payment details: for processing programme fees
Use of information:

To provide nutrition assessments, personalised guidance, and programme support

To communicate regarding appointments, programme requirements, and payments

To maintain accurate records for continuity of care

To comply with professional and legal obligations
Confidentiality:

Data is stored securely, access is restricted to the dietitian, and retained only as required by professional or legal standards.

Information is shared only with your consent (e.g., your doctor) or if required by law.
Client rights:

Access, correction, or deletion of personal information

Withdraw consent for communications.
7. Children’s Privacy

Information for minors is collected with parental or legal guardian consent and is kept confidential.
8. Communications

Clients may be contacted to confirm appointments, provide follow-up information, or discuss programme and payment matters.

Clients may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
9. Updates to this Policy

Policies may be updated periodically. The “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent revision.
